I have real shells from the Philippines that I will bring to the condo to share.
When I was a child my parents would take the three of us kids snorkeling in the evening.
Some of the most fantastic nacturnal sea life is from the Philippines.

An 18" square is 25" on the diagonal.

I enjoyed doing this with coral I found on the beach.

Form & Function

The form in regards to the project is tall and appropriately sized in reference to the surface it sits upon.

The perfect example of bad form, are the current master bedroom lamps. To oversized, to short and they are metal in a humid setting. A tall headboard should not dwarf the lamps on either side of it.

 I will be in Kona next week and will be going to the lighting store I ordered the ceiling fan from. As I have numerous lighting suppliers to look at with a wider range of choices than are at Pottery Barn.
