Table Lamps have two very distinct purposes

Form & Function

The form in regards to the project is tall and appropriately sized in reference to the surface it sits upon.

The perfect example of bad form, are the current master bedroom lamps. To oversized, to short and they are metal in a humid setting. A tall headboard should not dwarf the lamps on either side of it.

 I will be in Kona next week and will be going to the lighting store I ordered the ceiling fan from. As I have numerous lighting suppliers to look at with a wider range of choices than are at Pottery Barn.

Please keep in mind that a solid color surface is easy to accent with toss pillows, bringing in the contrast of colors. Large live green plants and table florals further ties everything together.
